A Dream came true today ! Thinking of this day for years, but never thought it would actually happen to me. But today it did ! Thanks to a fine Valley family ! These NHL trophies were given to the Players and Executives of an NHL Team when the team had a tremendous success during the year ! The smaller one is the Clarence Campbell Bowl Trophy, awarded each year to the Western Division Champions. ... This one is given to the 1982-83 Edmonton Oilers team, one was given to each player and Management Person. This one was given to Basil Pocklington ( Board Member) and Peter’s Father, Each one is engraved with the persons name on the Front, in this case BAZIL POCKLINGTON along with the Team Name ( EDMONTON OILERS) and the year 1982-83. On the back of the Trophy is is Engraved CLARENCE CAMPBELL BOWL 1968, the year the trophy was introduced. The Crown Jewel is the Miniature version of the Stanley Cup ! Which has the names of all the Players (Gretzky, Messier, Fuhr, Gregg, Kurri. Anderson and the list goes on!). This Miniature STANLEY CUP was also presented to Basil Pocklington when the Oilers won their First Stanley Cup Championship in 1983-84 ! NFS, at least at this time
