Where do you think we are moving to?? Hint: It is North of our current location, AND there is much more parking!! We have loved serving you all at our current location for the last 5 years, and we are excited to move to a new home where we can serve you even better!

Exciting things are in the works here at the Buzz, and our new location is slowly becoming a reality! For those of you who were hoping for a (slightly) more northern location in Nanaimo, which is still easily accessible for everyone, you may be getting your wish! We can't wait to reveal the new location with you all, but we are still finalizing some details, so you'll just have to stay tuned!... We have also partnered with Alpha Strategy to provide us with a new logo and website, and so we are very excited to share those with you as well! We will be doing our best to make the transition as seamless as possible, and we are excited to offer the same high-quality service at our new location, as well as introducing some new and exciting options! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We will be open from 9-3 tomorrow if anyone needs a coffee to stave off the food koma from the amount of food that will be eaten this weekend We are thankful for all of you, and we hope everyone has a great time with family!

We would like to welcome Sabrina to our team! Before joining the Buzz team, Sabrina came all the way from Nova Scotia, where she was born & raised in Halifax. She came to the island for a fresh start and the amazing views (such as those of all of our amazing regular's faces). She is most excited to join the team here at the Buzz because coffee shops are where she feels most at home.... Make sure to say hello next time she is behind the bar and to introduce yourself!

A lot of things go into making a great cup of coffee, but it all starts with the beans. That is why we tried to distinguish ourselves from other coffeeshops on the island by using Moja beans from North Vancouver!

We're glad to see that Tim Hortons and Starbucks are also turning away from using plastic straws! If you do not like the feel of their paper straws, come on by and try one of our cold drinks with our Eco-Products corn (PLA)-based straws that feel like plastic but are certified compostable!

Due to the increase of minimum wage and accompanying costs, we will be slightly increasing our price in the next few days (because economics suck and we want to continue paying our staff to provide you all with great service). We wanted to put this off as long as possible, and the increases will be minimal, but come in TODAY to get your drink at its usual price, before the changes are applied! We appreciate all of you, and want to do our best to continue serving you for years... to come!
