We live in an anxious world. At a time like this, followers of Jesus lean into the peace of God. Paul wrote in Colossians 3:15, Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body, you are called to peace. So today I want to welcome you to this time together and invite you to peace. In fact, you are called to peace. It is one of God’s great gifts that he wants to give to you.

Today we will wrap up a little teaching series called CLOSER. We’ve looked at ways that we draw closer to God. We’ve talked about gratitude, Scripture reading and taking communion and today we will talk about prayer. Our time together will also include a powerful testimony about a couple's prayer journey.
