Now that our last litters are settled in their new forever homes, everyone's had a fresh groom and a clip, we are going to be taking some down time and just enjoy winter with the crew. Grooming week! Doodles go Poof under the dryer! Luella actually loves the tub and bath rubdowns

Smelled a skunk pretty close to home yesterday....so thought I'd share cause its that time of year!!! When our big guy got sprayed in the face....yup he caught the darn thing!!!... I used the hydrogen and blotted repeatedly ...but he was a very light colour so didn't need to worry about discolouration to his coat......3 months later in each bath I could still smell on his face!!! If you dont have hydrogen on hand....try the other method....but in both as they state...DO NOT GET THEM WET....till after you apply one of the solutions to break down the skunk oil. you can also blot the area with a paper towel if you can see it...wearing rubber gloves of course....will have a blackish oily greasy look to it.

Don't get swept up in the moment and value convenience over quality of care.

Not sure she is impressed with her Birthday gift, but I am! The mudbuster.....cant believe the dirt that was in the bottom....WOW!.....my only regret is that we didnt get the large( cause they were sold out) but this plus a fluffy towel will hopefully stop the mud at the door.....even though they are all trained to head straight for the tub......the look of confusion when i said "no tub" ...that was priceless
