In the absence of working with children in s...chools at this time, I've decided to start offering some of my B Well Now programs, at no cost, to anyone that is interested in teaching/sharing Mindfulness & creative expression practices to the children in their lives. This week, I'll be offering my 'Mindful Monster Games' program and invite you to visit my website - www.bwellnow.ca - and enter your name and and email address in order to 'Join My Community'. Once you do so, I'll email you the program materials and details. Mindful Games is an introductory taster of my Mindful Monsters program and will be taught over 4 lessons - one for each day of this coming week. You will be provided with The Mindful Monster Games colouring sheet (which you will need to print out) and I will provide daily activities, via email, which I encourage families to complete together. Kids (and adults) of all ages can participate and I will provide tips for engaging in deeper levels of practice for those who have practiced Mindfulness before.

I know this is a very challenging time for everyone and in particular those who already struggle w anxiety. I’m resting at the farm but able to chat via messe...nger and help you and/or your children if needed so please do feel free to reach out if you are overwhelmed and struggling...and know that you are not alone. Calm has provided a ton of great meditations, sleep stories and practices for free at this time which is amazing - please click on the attached and spend some time listening/practicing. Just completed an 8-week pilot program of Mindful Monsters in a wonderful Grade 3 classroom. Love their designs and so happy to hear that they continue to use not just the mindfulness and stress management skills that they learned but also demonstrating more awareness, understanding and empathy towards themselves and their peers!

What do you see when you look within? Despite whatever challenges you may be going through right now, don’t forget to remind yourself of your own Magnificence - i challenge you to take 5 minutes out of your day today, minimize distractions, ground yourself, and go within - think about what makes you Beautiful...what makes you Shine.
