Ingrown Hairs...why?! They happen to the best of us. No one is immune. There are several reasons they can occur, shaving, waxing, tight clothing rubbing, clogged pores, dead dry skin build up, hormones, genetics... but the good news is there are some things that can help control and prevent them. Resist the urge to pick or dig or at them! Let them get close to the surface and allow a professional to extract them for you. I always have fun working on this lovely client! We did her legs for the first time and here’s a look at that process! What a great before and after! I also wanted to display how the sugar paste starts off looking and what it looks like after it picks up all that unwanted hair and dead dry skin. This Halloween...

The weather is getting crisp in Williams Lake! But thinking ahead, if you want to stride into next summer with great legs, fall & winter is the best time to start sugaring them! It’s a lot easier to grow the hair out during the cooler seasons when you’re usually covering them up most of the time anyway. Maintain a consistent schedule every 4-6 weeks and by the time summer rolls around you’ll have results of soft, smooth legs with thinner and more sparse re-growth making ...the maintenance much more easier and ideal. For legs I prefer to see more like 5-6 weeks growth from your last sugaring so you can walk away with smoother results. For the initial sugaring, you should have at least 3 weeks growth from your last shave. Note that with the change of seasons your skin will be getting more dry so please remember to exfoliate and moisturizer regularly! To book in text 306-5O1-7196 See more
