Missions Update: Paul and Anita Betrand have sent a few pictures of a Mailbox Club graduation celebration. These pictures are a small sample of the fruit, and the evidence of what God is doing. You will also find a brief video showing the wonderful work that continues to be done. The support the Byron Community offers is very much appreciated, so let us continue to lift the Betrand’s and all our missionaries up in prayer.

Sunday Services Update as of June 12, 2020: As you may have heard in the media, today Ontario is moving to Phase 2 in their COVID-19 response. This change allows for the opening up of more business and increases social engagement opportunities. Phase 2 also allows places of worship to open to 30% of their capacity with proper social distancing protocols in place. Last night, the Elders met with Church Council chair, Dr Gillian Kernaghan and Pastors John and Josh to discuss... how this might look for our community. We talked through possibilities, reviewed what other churches are planning to do and considered the logistics of keeping our community safe in our facility. Since a number of our family are in the COVID-19 vulnerable population, we came to the conclusion that we must err on the side of caution and remain closed for Sunday services. While we will continue to monitor the government guidelines and will review the situation several times in the coming weeks, we are looking to remain in our current state until September 2020.
