Community is a big part of what we believe in, and believe us, we have missed you! As the province rolls out plans for businesses, we will be rolling out our classes. Come join us for a class, but please be mindful of tape lines and personal distance markers. We have sanitizer for before and after entering the studio and we are limiting the number of students per class. Check us out on http://bysurrey.com for the schedule. Classes will be by donation until we are able to offer a full schedule. Any passes you have will remain on hold and resume when the schedule and the province are back in full working order. Best Yoga Surrey gives back some yoga love during covid 19. Live class with Glamanda

With our meditation live steam last Saturday getting the thumbs up, plus all your thoughts and prayers for us at the studio, we will be bringing you some more videos. We have all been practicing personal distance and Mark and Glamma (well..more Mark) has been working on piecing together BYSurreys Arrow B and Glammas Fri-yeah classes for you to view and hopefully follow along with on Youtube. Glamma and Amanda will also bring you a live stream Kundalini class on Saturday March 28th. Tune in to Facebook at 10:30AM. Hope you can join live, but if you can not, the stream will still be available to view after. All of us at BYSurrey are sending you and your family many blessings. Touching base with the community to make sure you are all doing OK. If you would like to stay in contact, I have a WhatsAp group for my meditation group, but am Open to create one for anyone who would like to stay in touch. I will be working to bring you a virtual class and go with live streaming for a guided meditation this weekend. (Still establishing a time, but I would like to do our first one Saturday March 21st) Anyone interested, send me an email with your contact info...rmation and I will add you to the group. I will need to have your phone number, as well as your names so I can invite you to the streaming. In an effort to ensure that our students and community stay safe, we have decided to follow other yoga studios and gyms in the area and temporarily close until further notice. We would like to ensure that we do our best to minimize the risk of exposure to the Covid 19 virus. Mark and Glamma will be available should you require us for spiritual guidance, energy healing, and counseling. Please do not hesitate to message us if you are in need of someone to talk to. We will make ourselves available through video conference or meet you at the studio if you require one of us for mental support. Prayers and blessings be with you and your loved ones. All passes will be paused and extensions offered to those with active BYSurrey membership.

Sorry about the quick schedule change. Glamma thought he would make it almost to his birthday before he pinched his back. Due to a high level of pain, he is unable to teach the Phoenix Rising class at 6:15PM, but Anita will ensure that you get a great Arrow class at 7:45PM.

2020 is a new decade for success and for some an opportunity for change. We all have within us the ability to mold our dreams in to reality. Clearing our minds and understanding how to find a clear path can often be a challenge. Come join Glamma on Wednesday January 22 at 7:30PM for a guided group healing meditation. As we wrap up our previous meditation group, we invite all levels to join us for a calm, relaxing candlelight meditation. Experience what our group has been working towards, and sign up for our next meditation series. The 9:30 Phoenix Rising class is cancelled due to bad weather conditions. Old Man Winter gave us a blast of cool weather AND a heavy snowfall. Its slippery on the roads, and transit is running behind (Dont be grumpy or blame your drivers, they are doing the best they can in this weather, and we appreciate everything they are doing to keep the city running). Be safe - we will be back for AFTERNOON classes. See you then :)

Let us help you stay safe by staying up to date and current on the weather event. Should there be poor driving conditions, we would rather your yoga wait and you to be safe. Shortly after 1:30 p.m., Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for Metro Vancouver with total amounts of 10 t...o 15 centimeters expected. "Flurries will continue for the rest of this afternoon as an unstable cold airmass transits across the Lower Mainland," the warning said. "Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas." Environment Canadas warning also said another "major snow event" is expected Tuesday evening, with the heaviest snow overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Come join us after the Fri-yeah classes or let go of any of that black Friday shopping stress with our Yoga Dance Party at 6:45PM. We will begin class with some kundalini kriyas (postures) that will generate a bit of natural heat and energy in the body. Glamma will lead you through the postures that will build in to a celebration of dance. After the class, stay and party with our potluck meal. Cost: Bring a small side dish Class is by donation.

Morning Fri-yeah classes (6AM and 9:30AM) have been rescheduled. Sorry for the inconvenience. A water tank burst in the studio, and Glamma spent the late evening and early morning soaking up water from reception and the ladies room. When in Munich, do as all yogis do..... Some hot yoga Bikram style. Its nice when you are familiar with the dialogue but dont take an intermediate posture if the teacher doesnt know you. Now lets see a bigger step to get that thigh parallel to the ground.
