Well, it's officially official that, despite our best efforts, and (IMHO) excellent safety measures, Stage 2 (Modified) is upon us, and we will be closed from 12:01am on Saturday, October 10 for at least 28 days (depending on whether infection numbers go down enough.) As the GM (I'm not JUST the social media monkey), I want to say an especial thank to our hardworking staff, who have been just fantastic and adaptable and helpful throughout the three months we’ve been reopened.... And to our patrons, thank you for your loyalty and support. As for refunds for tickets already purchased, we will be in touch shortly with details on how we will take care of that. We are a very small operation and it will take a few days to sort all of that out. With everyone’s cooperation (E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E’S), we hope that we can reopen next month. Don’t breathe on anyone you don’t live with, and don’t let anyone you don’t live with breathe on you. When we reopen, we will let you know via the usual channels (here, Instagram, Twitter, and Cinemail (subscribe at bytowne.ca). Stay safe, and we’ll see you at the movies! P.S.
