Happy Friday everyone! Last chance for caption contest entries today! Draw and winners announced this afternoon around 4pm! I've been getting a bunch of new followers, so I figured it was probably time to introduce myself to the newbies! I'm a Steinbach girl all the way, born and raised- never got out except for a short Bible College stint at Briercrest! I have 3 boys- twins Tommy& Spencer that are turning 11 this month, and Mack who is 7. I've been a realtor at C21 for 8 y...ears, after being a hair stylist before that for 10 years. So, that makes me old lol. I am a workoholic and when I'm not working, I'm with my kids-- not a major social life or hobbies for me! But, I do LOVE reading-- I'm a part of 2 book clubs that meet monthly (let's be real, I love the appetizers as well... these Zoom meetings just arent cutting it). My favorite is finding the perfect book recommendation for any friend that loves reading. I also love entertaining-- baking, cooking, any and all of those things! In the summer, I have my grandpa's old station wagon that I cruise around in that I love as well! Other loves are anything World War 2 history, a good netflix binge, & the occasional celebrity gossip. I'm extremely competitive and aggressive in work and homelife... my kids and I are huge board game lovers, and when I win, I crank up "We are the Champions" to rub it in to them. I love my career just as much. I strive to be the best in my field, and give it everything I have every day. I'm lucky to have found something that I love as much as I do. Anyway, enough about me! YAY or NAY?!? So curious what you guys think on this one, and wondering if I'll have any surprises on who answers which way!!! I'm a mid-century modern girl myself... but the possibility of a fireplace in my bedroom, or a turret room seems like an ok idea. The porch would definitely work for me... just hoping the kitchen is big enough! My house crush right now is the Byrde's house on the Netflix show "the Ozarks"-- not a show for the faint of heart.
