Structure on this project has been 1 step forward 3 steps backward. Happy to be making some progress. Trades are starting to rough in and the carport foundation was poured today.

Lots of stuff happening. Feels like a bit of a trickle more than a waterfall but the days are flying by and things are getting done. The custom is waiting on stucco crew for a few days so insulation can start. Concrete was poured at the reno among other things and now the carport footings are going in. The house will soon see sub trades.

Windows are in minus what needs to be left out for subtrades. I'm assuming the responsibilities of site management these days and the additional work load is more than appreciated. If im not busy 16 hours a day my brain melts into an unpleasant dark goop. I always feel like I'm behind the curve and need to do more. I look forward to this new approach to my work structure and hope to create some value.

I should not have been surprised when this demonic little hand reached for me as I ripped this shutter off our reno house today.

Framing is pretty well a wrap in Sunny Brae. Off to make old stuff new again

Well that's the roof. We set post bases today and struggled with the heat while letting our epoxy cure. Tomorrow its posts and deck framing.
