Players have started to arrive, Players will be announced over the coming week! We have a very talented group again this year and we look forward to continuing with our development as a program!!!... The Seaforth Generals Junior Hockey Club are looking to fill a few remaining roster spots for the 2020-2021 season! If you are or have a player born between 1999 and 2005, that wants to develop their game and take it to the next level- then we’d like to hear from you! Generals players will see a minimal 3 practices a week, an elite dryland training program and 24 hr access to the gym! Our program is designed to help players reach the colligate ranks! 13 players in 4 years ha...ve excelled and reached their colligate goals! A big congrats to former Generals Forward Parker Gee on his commitment to the University of Louisville and their hockey program! Gee had 19 goals and 47 assists for 66 points in 39 games as a 20 year old in 2018-2019, He also represented the CPJHL All-Stars in Las Vegas. Congrats again Parker! The Gens have some exciting news!!!!! 3 year defenseman Jared Searles has committed to play hockey at Florida Golf Coast University this coming September!!!! Searles skated in 116 regular season games as a General. Scoring 15 goals and adding 38 assists for a total of 53 pts. ... The 5’10 Stratford, Ontario native joined the Generals as a young 16 year old with aspirations of playing college hockey. Cereal Box is a coaches dream! His work ethic is 2nd to none, he’s a smart kid, and he’s a sponge- he wanted to get better and better each time we hit the ice He was always the first one at the rink, the first one on the ice, he wasn’t afraid to stop you after practice or a game for advice, thoughts or just a quick chat about how things are going TJ Runhart had to saying after coaching Searles for all 3 years. It is a tough pill to swallow, and it hurts deep down inside BUT we must stand by our Sanctioning body and adhere to their guidelines and rulings. The 2019-2020 CPJHL Playoffs have been officially cancelled. We do not want any players or staff being stuck and not able to travel to their homeland. ... We wish all our players safe travels! We want to thank all of our supporters for the amazing support you have shown to our players and staff through this amazing ride of a season! To our billet families- thank you for all you do! Thank you for being there for our players and their families! These boys travel 1000s of kilometres to be a General and to have someone take them into their home and make them feel like a part of the family is something we can never thank you enough for doing! To Norm Maracle-you called 1st in the West and 1st overall in the League- I’m going to take your word for the unplayed portion of the season! It was a hell of a ride and I can’t wait to see where this leads us! To Lucas Hicks- Thank you for taking care of the boys at home games! Your help will never go unnoticed! To the players- I’ve never been more proud of a group of players! You’ve taken lumps and bumps throughout the season and kept kicking butt! Your work ethics were infectious and have continued to push this program to be greater every step of the way! We are already building for a bigger and better season next year and we expect those able to return to be a massive part of it!!! The Generals are working on a lot of exciting things moving towards next season! Please stay tuned and you won’t be disappointed!!!!

PLAYOFFS UPDATE Alright Generals Supporters we have the playoff shake down for you! West #3 Langton will play West #2 Severn in a best of 3. Winner will go on to face Your Generals in a best of 3.... East #3 Smiths Falls will play East #2 Maniwaki in a best of 3. Winner will go on to face Le Bécard. The Winner of the East will play the Winner of the West in a best of 5 - Winner is the League Champions! We will keep you posted on first round scores and 2nd dates as soon as they are made possible!

IT’s OFFICIAL #GensArmy With Sunday nights home win over the visiting Langton Royals, the Generals have locked up 1st place over all in the CPJHL and have secured home ice throughout the playoffs!!!!!! Saturday’s match up against the visiting Le Bécard de Senneterre started off when Jordan Riviere scored the games first goal 9 mins in. 3 mins later Cedric Beck netted his 8th of year to tie things at 1. Then with 2:50 remaining Gens Scoring leader Owen Haiek added to the scor...ing party giving the Gens a lead going into the 2nd frame. 6 mins into the 2nd Jared Searles gave the Gens a 3-1 lead. Then less then a minute later Captain Don Kuptana banged home his 25 goal of the season. This called an end to Antoine Chouinard’s night in the Le Bécard net. Now with Gianni Schiappa-Godard in the crease for Senneterre- the response for Le Bécard was a positive one as Vincent Roy scored two unanswered goals to pull the score within one (4-3 in favour of the Generals) But that was as close as it got as the Generals responded with 5 unanswered to blow the game wide open for the locals. Raul Barbo was solid in bet! Owen Haiek finished the game with 1 goal and 5 assists. Ethan Scrimgeour added 2 goals and 2 assists 4 players had 3 points each - Travis Sloan (3 assists) Cedric Beck (2 goals and 1 assist) Don Kuptana (1 goal, 2 assists) and Generals new comer Austin MacDonald notched his 1 goal and 2 assists as a General! Sunday’s game seen Gens coach Norm Maracle give Max Hetman the nod in net as the Generals needed the win to lock up first place. A familiar start to Sunday’s game seen Royal Ismael Prudent open the scoring on the PowerPlay mid way through the 1st. 4 mins into the 2nd new comer Storm Noskye knocked home his 1st as a General to tie things at 1. Cedric Becks 9th of the season open the flood gates for the locals as they were riffled off 5 straight! The Gens scored 3 Power Play goals while adding a Short Handed goal as well! This is a victory for everyone who ever dawned the Green, Orange and Black! Thank you to the young men who fought through a rough first year in the league to the boys who who played years two and three!!!! You paved a way and should keep your heads held high! You’d be proud of these boys!!!! The Generals want to thank our supporters for coming out and being there to cheer on the boys!
