Based on recommendations from the Ministry/Government and our Board of Directors regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, Horizons Centre has made the difficult decision to extend our closure for an undetermined amount of time. We must do our part for the health and safety of all our clients, staff and community. These are truly unprecedented times and we hope to resume regular operations as soon as it is safe to do so. Feel free to send us a message if you have any questions.... Thank you!

Thank you to everyone that attended last Tuesday's Quarterly Meeting it was a great meeting. Our first Guest Speaker was Michael and Rada from The Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre, they did their Wise Owl Scam and Fraud Presentation. Our lunch time Guests were Tyler and Tim from the Red Deer RCMP with their police dogs Neeka and Kitzel. Everyone enjoyed learning how the dogs are trained. Kelly from Love/Yoga/Grace came and taught us some meditation and yoga moves that were adaptable for everyone. Then to wrap up our meeting Kim and Colby from Disability Services came and discussed any issues anyone was having with their services. Thank you to all of our guest speakers for making it a wonderful day and thank you to everyone who attended. Without all of you this would not be possible.
