ALMOST GONE . We didn’t think we’d burn through the mountain of our 9.5% Starburst Triple NEIPA as fast as we did, but by golly we’re almost out! Thanks all of you for supporting local and keeping us on our toes over the last few days. Much love . We were super pumped with the entire concept and design of this beer. Our beloveds at @daughter_creative nailed the graphic design, while @summitlabels did an epic job in doing a glitter overlay on the labels - as one pundit des...cribed it, holding the can was like slapping a unicorn’s ass . The glitter screen was so epic it kinda broke the printing press (sorry Summit...) so a few of the cans didn’t get glitter - sorry if your can is glitter free, but at least you won’t be finding glitter on everything for weeks to come. STARBURST TRIPLE NEIPA Imagine a galaxy far, far away. Now think of multiple galaxies merging and colliding, producing explosive starburst events. That’s big! We couldn’t think of a more apt metaphor as we tested the limits of our mash tun and the patience of our accountant to craft our biggest, juiciest, most flavourful New England IPA to date.... Starburst weighs in an astronomical 9.5%, but floats on your tongue like a regular haze bomb. The thickness of the body will send your tongue into zero gravity and the hop bill of 100% Galaxy hops will send your taste buds into orbit. It radiates passionfruit, cantaloupe, lychee, and candied orange and continues to transmit wave after wave of aromas towards your nose, even once the glass is empty. It’s our shining star. And it tastes out of this world. We’ll be releasing cans in the taproom from 3pm today, and also have it on tap. No growler fills sorry! We’ll also be shipping this beauty to Edmonton next week. DEFINITELY RAD! . Month two of our Stickers of Radness Campaign has come to a close and we have raised $510 for the The SouthWest Communities Resource Centre - SWCRC. SWRC provides resources, information, referrals, counselling, education and prevention programs to support vulnerable residents living in South Calgary. We’re stoked to provide a small amount of support. Thanks to all of you who have supported the campaign in September - you are rad human beings indeed. . As par...t of the campaign, Cabin staff are identifying and supporting charities that are near and dear to their hearts. For October, taproom staffer Aimee Ferguson has chosen Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse. CCASA is the primary sexual violence support and education service provider for Calgary and surrounding areas. They are committed to freeing communities of sexual violence through education and training and to reducing the impacts of sexual violence through support programs. CCASA provides safe, accessible, professional services for people of all races, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, or genders.
