Stand Up for Kids 04.10.2020

Today, our Foundation staff members are wearing orange shirts to honour the experiences and healing journey of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit residential school survivors and their families. In Canada, Indigenous children and youth are vastly over-represented in the child welfare system. This comes as a result of many complex issues, including the history of residential schools. As an organization, we are committed to addressing this issue by increasing our supports and str...engthening our relationships with Indigenous communities, because we know that #everychildmatters and deserves to be given the support they need to thrive. #OrangeShirtDay
