Took a #selfcaresunday morning today to go for a hike with the family. Trails are so quiet and relaxing....and neither kid needed to be carried during the whole 3.5km forest hike! SCORE!! How do you spend self-care days?

We all have bad days. But, it’s up to you how you turn them around. I was having a bad morning so I drew a bunch of hearts for my daughter to colour. It instantly calmed me and turned my mood around. My challenge to you: if you’re feeling a little down or unmotivated...draw a page of hearts!! It helps!!
Vacations and a break from everyday life is good for our mental health. It’s a chance to reconnect with family and, sometimes, unplug from social media for a while. Here is a pic from our family camping trip last summer. We’re LONG overdue for another trip! How are you getting that break and relaxation while staying close to home? Hearts come in all shapes and sizes. They appeared in 2 places for me this morning in the span of about 30 seconds. I made my coffee with a cute heart, then turned around and my daughter drew me a heart picture (the 2 figures in the bubble are me and my husband). Look for the love in your day today!
