Over the holidays I have realized that motherhood, a global pandemic, and life has left my personal practice lower on my priority list. I’ve made it a goal of mine to get back into shape musically this January! I was going to start Paul Edmund Davies’ 28 Day Warm Up Book, but decided today is as good a day as any to start. We are headed into a 28 day lockdown in Ontario today, and working through this book is my new lockdown goal My regular warm up and technique books include Trevor Wye, T&G, Reichert, and a selection of Marcel Moyse’s books. How cute are these flute toques? My flute is all decked out, and ready for the holidays! I’ve been joining Stéphanie from @flute.play Fridays at noon to learn how to make these fun hats for our flutes. I can’t wait to try my hand at a bedazzled version of these I spy a super cute flute ornament, also from Stéphanie and can be purchased in the FlutePlay shop!
