HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND BEST WISHES FOR THIS JOYOUS SEASON This year has been tough, no doubt. Whether learning to make sourdough or any other new skill, diving hea...dlong into diversifying your current skills, working hard from home while trying to also be an educator for your child; there's been an abundance of "pivoting" and experiencing of new things. We at Toronto Operetta Theatre have also adapted with the times and though we've faced many challenges this year, we wanted to extend our hands and remind our audiences, old and new, that YOU are the reason we do this. Though we may celebrate this festive time of year in many different ways, we, your friends at TOT, want you to know that we hold each of you close to our hearts at this joyous time - as we do all year round. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 Manitoba Opera has cancelled their Sweeney Todd that was scheduled for the 20/21 season. I was so looking forward to working on this fantastic show as Johanna with these talented colleagues and this wonderful company, but am grateful that everyone is keeping health and safety as a top priority. One day we will be able to tell stories and make music together again. "If I cannot fly, let me sing"

Candide update: Due to the COVID-19 situation, Edmonton Opera's Candide has been cancelled. Although I'm very sad that we won't be able to share this beautiful show, I'm happy that everyone is putting health first. This group of people are ridiculously talented, funny, and generous. Thank you to Edmonton Opera and the entire cast/crew/team for making the last few weeks so joyous. Here's a little clip of the cast having a farewell sing <3
