The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit is working closely with the school and all individuals who have been identified as possible close contacts through high-risk exposures have been contacted. The school and health unit are taking all necessary steps to prevent the further spread of the virus in the school and in the community. Our school remains OPEN and is operating on the regular daily schedule. Please check your email for a letter sent by the school today on behalf of the health unit. A reminder that the stretch of the curb on Caldwell Street along the Kindergarten Yard fence and up to the schoolyard fence is designated as a "Kiss&Ride". If your child is unable to get in/out of the car independently, and requires your assistance, please park further up/down Caldwell Street PS away from the Kiss&Ride section. The Kiss&Ride section should not be used for parking. Yesterday's pick up was particularly problematic. We suspect many parents wanted to park close to the gate because of the rain. We ask that you kindly leave the Kiss&Ride section free and park further up/down the road.
The #UCDSB is interested in parent/guardian perspectives of the 2020-2021 school year so far, especially your child’s program experience and how they are coping with the important COVID-19 precautions put in place. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey. Your input is so important and appreciated as we continue to work through these challenging times together. Take the survey here: http://ow.ly/mNQg50Cyt5C
