Calgary & District would like to give a quick shout out to Bill Hawes for doing a clinic with us on Hallowe’en. Our pipers received quite the clinic on the 31st from Bill. Breaking down basics and running through our MSR. CDPB looks forward to working more closely with Bill Hawes in the future! CDPB continues to recruit and grow! We’re practicing at the newly renovated #285 Centennial Horton Road Legion and continue to practice and observe social distancing and public health ...recommendations. We have a YouTube and Zoom platform set up for online learning for our pipers and drummers. Despite many ceremonies and events being cancelled, CDPB will be playing an outside Remembrance Day Ceremony at the #285 Legion. Our annual AGM will be announced shortly. Stay tuned. Sportin' the new hardware courtesy of The Celtic Pipe Line! Pipes sounded amazing tonight! 2020 Games maybe out for the year, but that's not stopping us for preparing for 2021! No time like the present for running the MSR. Distancing provided! Despite the pandemic we've practiced every Wednesday with Zoom and outdoor practicing on instruments.
