More on the Nordic Wind Festival : Nordic Wind Festival is a Nordic musician´s initiative, set out to promote wind music to a bigger audience, and to create inspiration across ensembles and borders. The first festival is scheduled for the fall of 2021, but since the lock down of all concert activity has left musicians longing to play and the audience in need of music, a digital festival will be held in 2020. The festival is made possible in cooperation with Klassisk karantene, NMF and Korpsnett Norge. Donations through VIPPS during the festival stream will go directly to the wind band movement. #TogetherAtHome

QUARANTINE JAM Thank you so much for submitting this awesome work for us to showcase. ....................... ... ‘Erika Mae was scheduled to perform in both the traditional as well as new Pop festival of the CPAF this year (six songs total). Naturally, she was disappointed in their cancellation; however one of the advantages of these quarantine days is that other time-intensive creativity can flourish. One afternoon this week Erika (age 16) disappeared into her room for about four hours--we could hear singing and her keyboard and when she emerged, she'd written, arranged, and performed every instrument via her keyboard and GarageBand of a new song.’ https://soundcloud.com/user-319247725/quarantine-jam
