Sol-day (on line for now due to COVID) An afternoon gathering for the whole family where we share and grow our experiences. We welcome but never pressure participation. Our meetings and presentations provide great opportunities to develop life-skills and inspiration within a relaxed and informal setting. Sometimes outside speakers are found. Sometimes they are home-grown from our enthusiastic members. Last Sunday of each month at 1:00 pm (for roughly 2 hours) Upstairs in Evergreen Spaces, 1709 - 8th Ave. NE Calgary (map) See Meetup.com for up-to-date changes and details for times and topics.
Kid-Day (On hold due to COVID restrictions) While the adults attend Sol-day, there will also be a programmed Kid-day, which is held in a spacious, well-lit room next to us and is designed to encourage critical thought, creativity, and group discussion. Venture Day (Availability varies with COVID restrictions) Fresh air is a good thing. So every month, we promote getting outdoors. If you have decided that it is OK to hang with us at some of other event, then maybe some hiking, walking, cycling or x-c skiing might interest you. Or even just a BBQ. Being human is being social particularly while enjoying the awe and wonder of nature. Fun is not just for kids but outdoor days are planned with the whole family in mind. 1st Sunday of each month (or 2nd Sunday of the month as per weather).
