What a highlight! Yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Steinke's grade 3 class decided to do an outdoor class-bonding, community-building activity. They invited Mrs. Gooliaff's grade 6 class and did a physical distancing buddy activity, drinking hot chocolate and participating in some great circle sharing! The result? Huge smiles, lots laughter, and wonderful authentic answers from the kids in both grades. Students in 6SG reflected afterwards and realized how much of an impact and inf...luence they have on younger students - such a privilege and responsibility! 3S students were so excited to be re-acquainted with buddies they had in former years. In their reflections, these were the top 5 answers: 1. They loved the hot chocolate 2. They had so much fun outside 3. They were so excited to be together with the Grade 6 students 4. They loved preparing for chapel (also part of their outdoor afternoon activity) 5. They have new friends to say hi to in the hall. For one of our students in 3S, who just moved here from Hong Kong in August, this was an incredible experience.
