We are sad to share that we have decided to cancel our in-person event series this week. With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise drastically in Alberta, we want ...to ensure that both our performers and fans stay safe and healthy. Instead, we will be kicking off a 4-week livestream series this Friday. Blue Jay Virtual Sessions: Holiday Edition will feature 4 singers who were originally schedule to perform this week: Brettyn Rose, Alex Hughes, Megan Dawson and Krissy Feniak. We would like to thank Mikey's on 12th Ave, Russell Brewing Company and Forty Creek Whisky for all of their support with bringing our event series to life and we look forward to a safe live music experience come 2021. We did not make this decision lightly, full statement below. Stay safe and well, everyone.

One week until the The Blue Jay Sessions: Holiday Edition!!! Join us at Mikey's on 12th Ave for intimate rounds of songs and stories, festive holiday food and drinks, and more! The sessions are almost sold out, but there are a few seats left to see Annika Cheyne, Wyatt C. Louis and Jess Knights on Wednesday at 7, Brettyn Rose, Lauren Mayell and As High As We Go on Wednesday at 9, Drew Gregory, D'orjay The Singing Shaman and Justine Vandergrift on Thursday at 9, and Liz, ...Megan Dawson, Flaysher and ZENON on Friday at 5:30. The Blue Jay Sessions and Mikey's are keeping your safety top of mind and adhering to all Alberta Health regulations. The space is set up to facilitate social distancing, masks are required when not seated at your table, and musicians will perform safely behind plexiglass.
