Enjoying Folk Routes this am! great to hear Suze Casey and Calgary Folk Club 's "scathingly brilliant" :-) solution to presenting live folk music in these times... (love the tarp-spacing idea!!), then the nice surprise of hearing "The Ballad of Nellie and Joe" written by fab musical pal John Wort Hannam Music and remembering that lovely recording session we had for that song with the late Barry Allen, beautiful fellow and wonderful singer, producer and owner of Homestead Studios in Edmonton for many years, who encouraged and fostered so many Alberta artists. Thank you Tom Coxworth for bringing us such great music and community connection! See more
