Getting ready for the start-up of our Youth Bowling Program. Our resident master finishing carpenter, Peter Ballinger, dropped off the new trays for our junior bowl sets. Since we moved to our new location five years ago, he has handcrafted trays for our 50+ sets of bowls. Thank you Peter!!!

Joanna Cooper holds the record for the most memberships to bowling clubs internationally. A true student of the sport, she has elevated her game to world class levels, including competing at the Commonwealth Games, and competing head to head with some of New Zealand’s best. Congratulations Joanna.

Greg Wilson is the humblest men’s player to grace the game today. His accomplishments are enormous including representing Canada at the Commomwealth Games. He is admired across the country. A true leader on the green and inspiration for those he has mentored along the way. They miss him back at the Burlington Club - we’re grateful he now calls our club home. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Congratulations Greg!

Board member David Wilson is once again preparing our Participaction application. A great opportunity to introduce our sport to our community and involve our membership. A real win-win.

Getting to know Pat Bird. One of the most successful Team Alberta and Team Canada champions. Anyone who has had the pleasure to train with him knows how much of a student of the game he is. We are lucky to have him as a member. Congratulations Pat!

Starting Monday, January 18th, outdoor gatherings up to 10 people are allowed. Make sure you get out for walks, cross country skiing, skating, tobogganing, and... start getting into action for the start of lawn bowling in May 2021! Personal and Wellness Services are also open by appointment only. Ensure you book to see your hair stylist if you haven't yet! Massage therapy, spa services (manicure, facial, pedicure) are also available. Funeral services are now permitted up to 20 people in attendance at a service. No receptions are permitted.
