Hey Everyone! We all know how much you wanted us to keep posting our player bios and how much you loved to see our super talented roster we had set up for Nationals. But, do to unforeseen circumstances we are just putting a temporary hold on them until further notice. In the meantime, stay safe, safe healthy and stay positive Folx!

Some of our players are so new, we don't even have photos of them playing quidditch yet! And yet, they still have super impressive photos of them, like our resident speed skater Isaac Sherwood, who we are very excited to photograph once quidditch is legal again. Not everyone on roster was going to play at Nationals. We had cheerleaders, team parents, bench managers, and even our injured reserve was gonna come hang with us! We were so excited to have Emma Sherwood join us for Nationals before she went off to McMaster to become even smarter. (She's really smart y'all). For those that are not aware, the news came out yesterday that Quidditch Canada has decided to cancel the 2020 National Championships due to COVID-19. While the Calgary Lightning believe this was the correct choice, we know that tens - potentially dozens - of people are crushed..... that they won't get to see the rest of our player bios. Do people still want to see the rest of them? We are still incredibly proud of the roster we assembled, and feel like there is still value in showing them off.
