Pedalheads will be back at the hall this summer!!! A very popular camp and a great asset for our community. Pedalheads will be running June "After School" camps and July/August "Half Day" or "All Day" camps for children at 27 different locations across Alberta in 2021 - we look forward to running in a community near you! Our Bike program, geared for kids aged 2-12, teaches riders ranging from beginners learning how to ride on two-wheels independently, right up to more confid...ent riders that are learning how to ride safely in neighbourhoods and residential areas. Our Trail program features an introduction to mountain biking for children aged 4-10 who are looking for an adventurous, active program this summer! Find more details and information about how to register on our website at www.pedalheads.com. Registration opens on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00am MST. https://www.pedalheads.com/

Folks, does anyone have pictures from Parkland when they first moved here. Namely of the strip mall? or the hall? I am looking for pictures from 40 plus years ago. In Sept of this year - COVID restrictions will dictate if, and the type and form of gathering, we are having the hall's 40th birthday party!!!!! So, if you have pictures of Parkland's strip mall, the hall, or any photos of a historical nature of our community, can you contact the hall at [email protected] o...r 403 278-5330. We are starting the planning process now. Oh, does anyone remember the names of the businesses at that strip mall? Thank you - Erika . Hall manager.

Thanks to our dedicated snow removal people, Parkland hall's parking lot is cleared of that ton of snow. So thank you to Royce Leal, Blake Robinson and Sunil! Note: the cars belong to an allowed group - church, meeting with numbers that total 15% of the halls' capacity.

Did you know you can get FREE gravel for your sidewalks at the fire station? Snow is coming, it’s always a good idea to sprinkle some gravel on icy spots before they get covered with the fluffy stuff.

Field of Crosses. Memorial Drive. 11/11, 11:00 Make time today to remember. Pause in a moment of silence to honour and remember the men and women who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace.
