We Are Now Accepting Patients Welcome Back! We are excited to announce that the clinic will be accepting appointment bookings starting Monday May 11 th for Physiotherapy appointments beginning Thursday May 14th pending provincial government shipment of PPE. Massage is considered Phase 2 and availability is still yet to be determined. (We will let you know as soon as we know).... In order to meet our commitment to patient safety, we have changed our booking procedures to include pre-screening questions and staggered appointments to help ensure physical distancing is maintained in our clinic. We are asking patients to help us maintain a healthy and safe environment in our clinic by answering pre-screening questions truthfully and following the new procedures in the clinic. Please print the PDF attached to this email, fill it out, and bring it with you to your appointment. Please contact us through EMAIL ([email protected]) to book an appointment and provide a contact number where we can get a hold of you. Schedules will still be very restricted to prevent patient contact so some wait times are still anticipated. Thank you for your patience. Take care and stay safe! -Resolve Team

COVID-19 Virus Update The College of Physiotherapists of Alberta is supporting private physiotherapy clinics to stay in operation during the pandemic at this time. To remain available for patients with orthopedic concerns decreases the burden on the health care system including emergency departments, physician’s offices, and urgent care clinics. If you have an orthopedic concern you should be currently avoiding these departments / clinics unless its an emergency. In ord...er to proceed in a safe manner, we will be instituting additional measures next week including limiting access to our clinic to avoid patient overlap, patients’ temperatures will be checked by physiotherapists, clinicians and aids will be wearing masks as applicable. Patients over the age 60 or with co-morbid conditions should determine whether or not they will deteriorate without Physiotherapy care. If this is not the case, your risk considering age and pre-existing conditions may out way the benefits of your physiotherapy treatment. In addition, please call us to cancel your appointment if you are one of the following: - In contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days. - Returning from ANY travel - individuals may not be aware they have been in close contact with someone who is sick. Travellers may also not recognize when they first develop symptoms, as they are similar to a cold or flu. -If you have the following symptoms: Fever Cough Difficulty breathing Thank you for your patience and cooperation keeping our patients and staff healthy. Please call 403-203-7670 if you have any questions or if you need to cancel your appointment. As you probably assumed, no cancelation fees will be assigned at any point going forward through this pandemic. Regards, Resolve Health Partners

More non-Physio comments. Feeling confused. Alberta is being blamed for a majority of Canada's co2 emissions and thus is killing the world. Firstly, doesn't Canada only represent only 1% of total Co2 emissions in the world. I think one burp from a volcano in Hawaii emits more. ... Secondly Why isn't Quebec's Cement factories not ever mentioned in Canada’s calculation. From what I read they emit nearly as much as the oilsands of Alberta. Thirdly, how can even halving (shutting down all oilsands) CO2 emissions in Canada make a significant impact on the global warming. Wouldn’t it be more efficacious to boycott products from the world's heaviest polluters and just produce the products here. Maybe the carbon tax can be used to subsidize these industries as they are developed here in Canada. Maybe the tax revenue created from our new POT industry! Seems like more lobbying for stuff that benefits a few fat cats on top trying to control Canada as opposed to something that would benefit our country or possibly the world as a whole. https://en.wikipedia.org//List_of_countries_by_carbon_diox https://www.macleans.ca//in-quebec-a-government-supported/ Bryan
How Alberta / Canada got screwed! Good article below. This stuff really gets me fired up. I hate politcal collusion/corruption. Many politcians have lost sight of what the true nature of thier position is. That is representing Canadians as a whole instead of advancing thier own personal objectives for thier own personal benifits. https://business.financialpost.com//gwyn-morgan-talk-about... Why do these politicians and lobbiest get to just walk away after they caused so much grief for Candians? Albertans and oil companies that harvest this Albertan resource should use infomation like the 10 year study mentioned in this article to counter these spin doctors. Follow the money and the truth will be told. To the groups like tides, living oceans, green party, WWF and politicians like Butts, Mckenna, Caron, Sohi, Goodman, and various native activist groups; you have alot of explaining to do and you have broken the trust of many Canadians. We have wethered your storm again under another incompetent and niave Liberal government. Elections are soon coming. Ablerta will be heard, and you manipulating Spindoctors will get what is coming for you! Trudeau if your not in the same bed with these characters you need to open you pretty little eyes.
Office Tip 2 After hours of sitting, your hips tighten up and eventually put adverse stresses on your back. Try to get up every hour or two and try the hip stretches below: Keep Back straight in all stretches. Stop if causing pain, and call your Physio!. If you have an ongoing issue, check with your physio first. ... Ps. We are not made to sit for hours, so get a sit stand desk. Bryan
Quick update. Our Physiotherapist Charotte Marvin will be returning from Maternity leave as of FEb 11th. This will mean less wait times for everyone again!... Welcome back Charlotte. Bryan

New Year's Resolutions! Unless you are a competitive athlete, or you have a specific rehab goal, the best approach to physical wellness in the New Year that will add longevity to your life and minimize premature wear and tear of joints is to start a cardiovascular program, and a basic stretching program that focuses on restoring normal range of motion through the body.
