In the 10+ years that I have been plumbing in and around the Calgary area, I have seen so many issues with these so-called flushable wipes. They are not as dissolvable as traditional toilet paper and will get hung-up on turns debris that may be lodged inside your plumbing drains. If you continue to use these, please only use them, and then toss them in the garbage, and not down the toilet! Routine maintenance on your hot water tank Is simple and could potentially prolong the lifespan of your hot water tank! We recommend at least once a year to shut the cold-water inlet valve for the hot water tank and hook a hose up to the drain valve of the tank. Then you can open the drain valve and proceed to allow the water to flow into a nearby floor drain. You may have to open a few faucets (hot side only) to allow for the water in the tank to flow in the drain. Always make sure to turn the on switch on your gas valve to pilot when doing this as well.
