The session expands the conversation about trans and non-binary identity to address an expanded range of gender identities and pronouns, contemporary social and political hurdles including participation in sports, socialized gender barriers, trans medicalization, representation and current issues in the media.

A dance teacher, choreographer, and performer, Kyra Newton has launched a new dance project, Blissful Dance Class in #YYC. Kyra has created four 45-minute pre-recorded dance classes for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, people over the age of 55, and folks with different disabilities. These four classes will be live-streamed on Zoom for four-weeks in November (Friday, Nov 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 4:45 - 5:30 p.m (MDT). These classes are FREE to participate.
