We have always preached that family is the foundation of our business roots. Right now our family is in mourning, as our Mom, Sharon Brown passed away early this morning peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital. Not even a week ago we were talking with her, laughing with her, and making plans with her for when a sense of normalcy returns to our world... which has been forever altered by Covid-19. This was a completely unexpected turn of events and we are devastated. We live in a world where we race to succeed, and our successes are quite often measured by our level of education, the money we make, our business conquests, our status in society, and a plethora of other things I could mention. We believe there is absolutely nothing wrong with striving to achieve these successes. However, over the last week we have realized that often people (and we are guilty of this too) forget about THE one unquantifiable measure of success in our lives.LOVE. What our experience over the last five days has taught us is that in addition to racing to succeed, we need to start racing toward something elsewe need to race toward LOVE. In the end, our most significant, profound measure of success will be LOVE.Our love for ourselves, our love for others, and their love for us. We need to focus on our relationships with our friends and our families.THAT will be our true measure of success!! When we are near the end, hopefully surrounded by the people that we love, and that love us in return, it is that LOVE that will hold us together. What people will remember about us is how we LOVED! How we treated others. Simply put, please race towards LOVE. There is no greater reward on this earth. Enjoy your friends and family.make time for them.make time for yourself..make time matter!!!! If we can say we have done this, then we can rest easy knowing we truly are successful. In this respect our Mom was more successful than anyone we know. Rest In Peace Gramma Sharon. We were very excited to hand over the keys to our first Custom Home in Fernie BC!!! We enjoyed every minute of this build and the change of scenery was definitely a bonus. Days away from breaking ground on our first of three custom builds in Fernie, BC. It is going to be challenging to say the least, but we are very excited to get the ball rolling on these fantastic homes!! Framing and mechanical are almost done on our Riverstone custom, and framing begins this coming week on our Paradise Canyon custom! It’s shaping up to be a great year for CLL, and we are grateful for everything on our plate!!
