Dear patients, As our clinic is now registered to electronically direct bill, we are able to offer direct billing in many cases. Please reach out to us in case you would like us to address any current financial arrangements. We are anticipating that the introduction and transition may take some time but will do our best to make it as easy as possible.... Kind regards, Dr. Evelyn Diduch and Team from Callingwood Orthodontics

Good morning, unfortunately our area is without phone or internet service this morning. Shaw's emergency service is working on resolving the issue.

Dear patients, We hope that you are all doing well with the changes faced over the last few months. With your help we have been able to cautiously reopen our clinic and have already seen or rescheduled most of previously booked appointments in active treatment.... Confirmed active cases in Alberta, specifically Edmonton, seem to remain low at this time and we cross our fingers to not have to face another mandated closure. As you know, we have also updated our office and appointment protocols and reduced the number of appointments seen each day. We have now established a calendar with increased availability from June to August and are able to schedule any appointment types. We are proactively reaching out to you but are also welcoming you to contact us to schedule your next visit. On a personal note we want you to know how much we miss being able to welcome everyone in our clinic as we are currently restricting the number of occupants to patients and staff only. Touching base with all family members, seeing everyone's smiling and unmasked faces is what we are most looking forward to once circumstances allow Dr. Evelyn Diduch and team from Callingwood Orthodontics

A huge thank you to all of our amazing staff! They have started to re-book patients in active treatment as of May 7th and will soon start contacting patients who were originally booked in the week April 20th to 24th. We are anticipating that we will be able to increase the types of appointments we can see very soon. We are reaching out to you one week at a time. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, should you have any questions or concerns.

Dear patients, We do thank you very much for your understanding and patience over the last few weeks. Our many contacts with you have been extremely pleasant and we call ourselves fortunate to have such amazing patients! As many of you are already aware, Premier Jason Kenney has today announced his relaunch strategy Opening Soon. The plan now provides an opportunity for our regulatory body, the Alberta Dental Association and College to establish new guidelines, which will a...ssure that we will continue to responsibly prevent the spread of COVID-19. As these new guidelines have not been published at this time, the previous mandate to only see emergency appointments still remains in effect for us. We are excited, that we will be able to begin seeing regular appointments soon in order to attend to your treatment. However, we are anticipating that in any initial stages we may still be limited to performing certain procedures only and do ask you for your continued understanding. We also certainly understand that you may want to rebook any appointment as soon as possible. However, since we have been mandated to be closed for some time now, we would ask that you please understand that any previously booked appointment may have to be delayed by up to 6 weeks from the time of re-opening. We intend to proactively reschedule your visits and suggest an appointment time for you as soon as we have more details about when and how we are allowed to see patients again. In the meantime we will continue to attend to emergencies as they arise in the current limited format. You may also have experienced our changed strict protocol to assure that we are only seeing patients without symptoms, travel history or contact with COVID-19 confirmed cases. We will also continue to ask anyone accompanying the patient to please wait outside of the clinic to respect social distancing. (Waiting area and washrooms will not be available). We are also asking to brush your teeth prior to coming to your appointment as our brushing stations are closed. Thank you again to all of you, we greatly appreciate the support and understanding we have received over the past weeks. Kindest regards, Dr. Evelyn Diduch and Team from Callingwood Orthodontics

Dear patients, We would like to reach out to you and extend a big thank you for being extremely understanding in these unprecedented times. We have already scheduled many video calls with you to assess any progress or answer questions or concerns. Please continue reaching out to us, as we continue being available for you even though we are not able to schedule any regular visits at this time. According to the google report, mobility in Alberta has decreased significantly sinc...e February. Our common effort to reduce the impact of COVID19 on our society seems to be showing results as we are slowing the spread of this virus. We were excited to see Dr. Deena Hinshaw’s announcement today, informing us that a contact tracing app may be available sometime soon assisting further in slowing down the spread. These systems have been used successfully in countries like Singapore and South Korea to quickly interrupt infection chains. As we believe that this app may prove to be very beneficial once we cautiously return back to a new normality, we thought it is worth making everyone aware, that this may be available soon. As per Dr. Hinshaw’s announcement participation will be voluntary. Also, any information will be stored on the participant’s cell phone only and no geographical tracking will take place. We are expecting guidelines to be established by our governing bodies soon indicating any changes we may have to implement to our protocols in the clinic. However, we are also in the process of proactively implementing modifications and will update you as soon as possible. We hope all of you are safe in these times and are looking forward to being in contact with you! Dear patients, As I am sure, most of you are already aware, the Alberta Dental Association and College has mandated all non-emergency procedures not proceed at this time. We want you to know that we are here to manage your emergencies as they arise. ... In an effort to facilitate communication between you and us, we have setup the possibility to use Facebook messenger video call should you feel the need. As we will be maintaining an irregular office schedule, the best way to reach us will be either through email ([email protected]) or Facebook. Let's everyone please do our part with respect to social distancing in the hope that we can slow the spread of this virus. Kind regards, Evelyn

We would first like to thank all our patients being understanding with us during this difficult time of uncertainty. We have decided that it is in the best interest of our patients, staff and the community as a whole to limit our appointments to emergencies only at this time. As information and guidance become available to us, we will update you as soon as possible.... Please know that we are available for you, as we remain present in our clinic to answer phone calls, voicemails and emails ([email protected]). We understand these changes may cause some frustration but we feel that safety is the highest priority. As soon as we are able to get back to our regular schedule, we will be informing and contacting you. Thank you again, Dr. Evelyn Diduch and team from Callingwood Orthodontics (We feel the attached picture from today.com is a powerful message of how one individual is able to prevent an infection chain by respecting social distancing)

Dear Patients! We are excited that our office renovations will commence this Wednesday. We do not anticipate any disruption apart from a smaller available waiting area and a temporary reception desk. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause over the next 2 months.... See you soon!
