Easter Sunday Morning We have 3 service options, so please plan to come to the one that meets the needs of your family. 1) Our Sunday morning online service and our regular Calvary Kids video will be available for viewing through our website. 2) We will be hosting an in-church Family Service at 9 AM. This is an interactive and engaging service that is geared to the young and the 'young at heart'. This service will follow a similar format to the Family Services that we ha...d together in the fall. 3) We will also be hosting our regular in-person service at 11 AM. For the first time since we had to close last March, we are going to have a live worship team! For options 2 and 3, you will need to register ahead of time as space will fill up quickly. Calvary will be joining with Dublin United Church on Saturday, February 20, 2021, to provide a warm meal to those in our community who are unable to provide their own. We will be providing 80 servings of meatloaf, vegetables, cookies and juice boxes. The food items will be dropped off at Royal City Church, in a socially distant manner. Happy New Year! 2020 has brought its share of challenges, but we can still trust in God! Thankful that in our waiting, God is still working.
This year might look very different, might have brought many changes in our lives, but the one thing that will always stay the same is the amazing thing that we celebrate. That over two thousand years ago God himself came to earth, Immanuel. To save us, and redeem us. Stay safe this holiday season! #calvarychristmas2020
Dear Calvary Family, In light of the events surrounding COVID-19, there have been questions regarding our church’s response. First and foremost, we do want to recognize that God is still sovereign at times like this. In the midst of a situation that seems so uncertain and beyond our control, we can remember the words of the Psalmist God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way ... and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea He (God) says, Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46: 1-2,10-11 We must also wisely consider how God would have us proceed moving forward as we strive to continue reaching out to see Everyone a Disciple. As we look ahead to this coming Sunday, we initially had planned on having a service but due to the increased efforts to slow down the spread of Covid-19 and at the suggestion of the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the province of Ontario to limit meetings of groups over 250, we have chosen to suspend Sunday morning services moving ahead. This is not a decision that was arrived at lightly but one that has been made taking into consideration the welfare of our congregation. We encourage you to visit our website, https://buff.ly/2U3ipOs or Facebook page, https://buff.ly/38WiHMI this Sunday morning to stream a message online from Pastor Josh and we encourage you to continue to worship Christ in Spirit and in Truth. In the coming days, we will continue to keep you informed of Calvary’s response to Covid-19 and its impact on our scheduling and events. In the meantime, know that the leadership of Calvary is praying for each and everyone of you as we continue to build the Kingdom together. Peace
Today we take the time to honour those who fought for the freedom we have today. We pause and say thank you.
We trust that you will be blessed as you meet together in your homes to worship. Enjoy your time of fellowship with one another, and know that we are continuing to pray for you.Our Sunday Morning Service is now Live! You can find our service for Sunday, October 25 by clicking below.
