Good Morning Calvary Church!

It's the last day of 2020 and there is so much to reflect back on. This year wasn't one we expected and there have been so many valleys through it. But in between the valleys, in the small cracks, there were a few mountain tops. Maybe not Mount Everest, but a little closer to Mount Olympus. We can reflect back and be thankful for our teaching team, encouraging us through the difficult times. We can reflect back and be thankful for our production team, working tirelessly to g...et our online service streaming to your living rooms. We can reflect back and see how God's hand was in all of it, presenting the right people at the right time and equipping us to continue to spread His word, regardless of lockdowns and restrictions. God doesn't promise us a life without difficulties, but He does promise us that through those difficult times He will never leave us. What are some things you can be thankful for in 2020?! In Case You Missed it! Our wonderful People Care team is asking for our assistance. Every year the team distributes grocery cards to families in need but this year they would like to distribute Food Boxes. These are all to be non-perishable items as we want these families to be able to enjoy these items as they need! We ask that all boxes are returned to the church office or dropped in the church lobby by December 13th so they have plenty of time to get them delivered. ... Search your cupboards, ask your neighbours, fill a box and make someones Christmas a little extra special this year! If you have any tasty recipes that can be made with these items, don't hesitate to include it! We want these families to feel loved!
