Hey Everyone - I have a question for you to ponder, and if you'd like to answer...even better. We are wrapping up the little teaching series from Micah 6:8 this Sunday. The people of Judah ask God, "What do you want from us?", and God replies with three requirements: do justice, love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. That last requirement... "to walk humbly with your God"... What could or does that look like as a follower of Jesus? I'd appreciate your input and thoughts!

God’s Antidote for Planet Earth Lovers of Kindness The funny thing about kindness is you know it when you see it. A human being cannot deny a simple act of kindness to another human being or to an animal. We know it right from a very early age, don’t we? Why is that? Well let’s not forget that we have been created in God’s image and somewhere in our strand of DNA is this kindness gene. Of all the things that God could require from us, one of the top three is to love kindness (mercy). That’s profound! May we be known as lovers of kindness!

First, the more I read of Geoff Holsclaw the more I am impressed with his wisdom, his love for the Church, and his strong desire to explore what it means to be a boots-on-the-ground follower of Jesus. Second, this is a great word in how to hold the tension between prophecy, the realities of this world, and wisdom.... Third, he's begun what he calls, a 'little side project' called Grassroots Christianity, and folks are welcome to join. I have, and why not you? Finally...he's a Vineyard pastor in Michigan, and what's not to like about that! ;) Please take a few minutes to have a thought-full read of this well-written article!

What to expect when attending our "modified" In-Person Service

RESET Jesus and the Call to the Holistic Life And now begins the gradual return to our communal gatherings. How best to describe the past six months? In many ways it’s been like the shattering of a treasured heirloom. For many, it can only be described as ‘fragmented’. And so where does one begin to pick up the pieces? In fact, which pieces get picked up again? When things have become unhinged, it’s best to return to the essentials. And when it comes to following Jesus, our trusted historian, Dr. Luke, captures what the apostles and early church saw as the core elements of Jesus’ calling to living the holistic life.
