He was known for hi...s mastery of Cha quan, Hua quan, Pao Chuan, Bajiquan, and Tai chi quan. Because he had won foreigners in the weightlifting competition, the nickname is the Qinjn wáng (meaning that he has great power), Is one of the most famous martial artists in modern times. In 1928, he served as the director of the Shaolin Gate of the Nanjing Central Martial Art Museum. Obituary The Permanent Honorable President of this association, Grandmaster Ip Ching died of illness on 26 January 2020 at the age of 85. He was the second son ...of late Grandmaster Ip Man. He inherited the mastery of Ving Tsun in Ip Man lineage and strenously applied this martial arts. He was a diligent and pragmatic person. For many years, he taught many disciples and contributed a lot for the development of Ving Tsun in Ip Man lineage. Sifu Ip used to be Chairman and President of this association and set a very good example for our Ving Tsun colleagues. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all contributions of Sifu Ip and deepest condolences on the death of Sifu Ip to his family. Night vigil of Sifu Ip Ching will be held on 7th February 2020 (Friday) from 5:00 p.m. at Fook Hoi Hall in the Ground Floor of Hong Kong Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on 8th February 2020 (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. at Hong Kong Funeral Home, followed by the cremation service at Cape Collison Crematorium. 3rd Annual Dragon Lion Dance Festival was held at Celebration Square, Mississauga, Ontario on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The Festival was co-organised by Ku...ng Fu Canada Federation and Mississauga Mandarin Association. On behalf of Co-Chairs Mr. Gary Gu, and Master Tony Sun, I would like to thank all Volunteers, students, masters, parents, performing groups for your dedication, support and many months of hard work. The Festival was a resounding success. The program was great and the crowd size increased by at over 50% compared to last year. We would also like to thank the spectaotrs to come out to enjoy the festival.

Thank you Kung Fu Canada Federation for your nomination. I was honoured today to receive the 20 Year Ontario Volunteer Service Award. Thank you my lovely wife Grace Santos Gould for joining me at the awards ceremonies.

It was an honour to receive confirmation that I will be receiving an award for 20yrs of volunteer service in Ontario for my work with the Kung Fu Canada Federation. Congratulations to the other recipients, Sifu Carey Stone and Yulia, and also Sifu Moxam Wing Chun and Darwin Chan (who were unable to join us at the Ammac BBQ this year. Looking forward to the Awards Ceremony.

It was a good day at All Masters Martial Arts Tournament

With the tournament right around the corner, we wanted to make sure that everyone has all of the information needed for a smooth day. Reminder: The Championship... is taking place in the Athletic Building at Sheridan College in Brampton. That's The Better Bruins Gym, 813 Sheridan College Dr., Brampton, ON L6Y 5H9. Once on campus, please find the visitor's parking, and then make your way to the Gymnasium. Registration begins at 9am, so please be prompt. The Opening ceremonies will take place around 10 AM and the competition will begin immediately afterwards. If you have already registered please proceed to preregistration, otherwise, the staff at the registration desk will help you get signed up for your events. Admission for spectators is $5. Please note there may be limited food options onsite, so we recommend that everyone bring some food with them. If there are any other questions, please feel free to reach out, see you soon!
