OLAF À BROSSARD WOW!!! Well, our dancers retire from dance at some point, which means our dance parents sadly retire too. We thought we would share this photo with you of long time, but currently retired, dance dad Derek and his creation for this winter. Many of you know him as Olivia and Justin's dad or, a doorman at our shows for so many years (spanning more than a decade). What you may not know is he is also a skilled backyard snow project creator. He has been in the ...news for his backyard ice bar (equipped with ice stools, a TV for watching hockey and room for lots of friends). Well, this year, this is his accomplishment "Hockey loving Olaf". He said it took him 2 weeks to build. Now that is dedication and we are sure long time dance mom Janice (who has lots of patience to support Derek through all of his crazy winter projects) is happy to see this out of her back window. Nous avons pensé partager avec vous cette photo du "papa de danse" de longue date Derek et sa création pour cet hiver. Beaucoup d'entre vous le connaissent comme le père d'Olivia et de Justin ou comme "doorman" pour nos spectacles pendant plusieurs années (plus d'une décennie). Ce que vous ne savez peut-être pas, c'est qu'il est également un créateur de projets de neige d'arrière-cour. Il a construit son bar de glace dans son jardin (équipé de tabourets de glace, d'une télévision pour regarder le hockey et de la place pour beaucoup d'amis). Eh bien, cette année, c'est son accomplissement Olaf. Il a dit que cela lui avait pris 2 semaines. Maintenant, c'est du dévouement et nous sommes sûrs que la "maman de danse" de longue date Janice (qui a beaucoup de patience pour soutenir Derek dans tous ses projets hivernaux) est heureuse de voir cela par sa fenêtre arrière. Si vous circulez dans les rues de Brossard, vous pourrez peut-être trouver ce géant Olaf :)

We are continuing to spread the joy of dance the next few weeks by posting some our old dance videos. The good ol' days when we were able to all dance together on stage or in the classroom.
