Quick visit with the vet today - Sister will be started in training this year and we want to make sure she is ready. We think she has asthma or allergies, as she has been known to cough, and since Freckles issues, I am not taking any chances. It really is simpler and easier (piece of mind) to spend a bit of money to have them examined. And it’s our own due-diligence, plus we don’t want to be low balled and brow beaten by potential buyers who think they can squeeze a deal ...because we weren’t aware true story- it happens all the time. So to save the hassle we learnt to get Vet checks done on our prospects. She is good tho - no beating on our pockets resting heart rate standing breathes Baggy on nose Vet said put her to work she’s good to go. . Having said that, we will try her like freckles and she’ll get nebulizer treatments too. Might as well . . 3 y old filly ready for action AQHA . Docs king hill & smart chic olena crossed. Looking for a Mare I sold in 2012 I think about her all the time, and she is one of those horses I wish I never sold and have decided I need to check in on her.. Description: ... we sold her from our ranch in Deadmans (camilleshorsemanship) in 2012 summer. She is a registered AQHA mare (her name elludes me right now) but I called her MAGGIE - her sire was Tivio San Rey and her mother was Peps Misty sky (or something close to that) She is very well trained, 14.2hh ish Sorrel mare with a tiny little star. she would be around 14 years old now... The lady who purchased her, was looking for a trail horse, she arrived with her husband (who owned a company in forestry? or trucking? or heavy machinery?) from the Cariboo area? Looking over the youngsters, yup still look good. . Holly, Apache, Randy, Snip, Sister are developing so nicely. . Can’t believe our babies will be ready for more work loads next year, it’s such a long slow process that goes by in a blink of the eye. ... . Apache... augh... he’s in the slowest growth rate ever. will be four next year and is no where near how Hawk is looking. Buuuut... I have to remember that Rory & Reese where exactly the same way! And Boy did they fill in and grow up later in their life. . .
