Camosun alum and residential school survivor Eddy Charlie helped kickstart the local #OrangeShirtDay movement at the college while he was a student. He has taken his story to the municipal and provincial level. Listen to his story here, and please take time honour Eddy and other Indigenous people who were impacted by the residential school system.

Phillip Yee, a Camosun College alum who graduated from the medical radiography program in 2016, tells us about a day on the job as an x-ray technologist. When you take an x-ray, you don’t just put the body part in the machine and press a button, he says. You have to get the room ready, prepare the patient, and make sure you’re clear about what you’re supposed to x-ray. You have to balance what the doctors want and what the patient can do, so you need to get very creative about how to get the images. Read Phillip's story here: http://bit.ly/2YvkpTL
