Memorium Diyana Mutevelli It is with profound sadness that the Camp Ararat family mourns the passing of Diyana Mutevelli who passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 27, 2020. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her children Elizabeth, Alain, and Michael, her surviving Mother Digin Sonia Mutevelli, her sister Maida, the Icliates family, and loved ones. There will be a hokehankist for Diyana this Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Please note ...due to COVID-19 precautions, the church will only permit limited attendance and masks must be worn. There are also online options on the church’s Facebook page. Diyana was a co-founder of the Diocesan Camp Ararat summer youth project and a board member and staff between 2004 to 2009 with a significant contribution to the success of the Camp from which we continue to benefit today. She has our eternal gratitude and her volunteerism and positive attitude will be in our memories forever. Thank you, Diyana, for all you have done for Camp Ararat. It is with a heavy heart that the Camp Ararat family mourns the passing of one of its founding members Mrs. Hilda Gozbak Sakaloglu this past weekend August 29, 2020, after a battle with cancer. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Levon and children Taniel (Cassandra), Nicholas (Jessica) and Daron (Nicollette), to her sister, brother-in-law and nieces Kinar, Arman, Adrina and Arlene Gazeryan and to all her extended families and friends. Hilda was the force behin...d the formation of the Diocese Camp Ararat youth project from 2003 to 2014. Her determination and vision to bring Armenian youth together from all corners of Canada in faith, service and love was unwavering. Campers, counsellors and the Board of Directors will eternally be grateful for the laughs, memories and friendships made possible because of Hilda’s passion and devotion. A Funeral Service in memory of Hilda will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Armenian Church in Scarborough, Ontario. The Sakaloglu family has requested that those who desire, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation go to Camp Ararat which was so dear to Hilda.
