Happyland Campground will be closing this weekend. We thank everyone for camping this summer! Online Reservations will open up in the new year, so please watch for updates.

The weather forecast looks great for this weekend, so if you're looking for something to do with the family, head to Terry Fox Park in Ninette for a day at the ...beach! Play on the playground, build sand castles, or just sit on the park benches and enjoy the lake view. Pack a picnic, or grab some takeout from one of our local restaurants like Hot 'n' Frosty, The Pelican Campground & Lounge, or Ninette Motor Hotel to enjoy at the park! If you forget any supplies at home, or need to fill up before heading back, Ninette Gas Service or Grocery Box can help you out! Bring the boat, kayak, or paddleboard for some lake fun (no trailer parking in the Terry Fox Park parking lot, but lots of dedicated boat trailer parking in the nearby fairgrounds). If you visit on a Friday, be sure to check out the Ninette Farmers Market from 6:00 to 7:30 at the fairgrounds. Our washrooms at the Terry Fox Park are accessible, and we have two wheelchair accessible picnic tables as well. **Please remember to practice physical distancing in the park, and be sure to use the garbage and recycling bins to clean up after your visit. Happyland Campground opening date is May 15th, 2020. The health and safety of our staff and customers is top priority. Due to COVID-19 our expected opening date may need to be pushed back. We are following provincial regulations and will make this decision May 1st. Any cancellations due to COVID-19 will be refunded.
