MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Campbell River Minor Lacrosse Association is proud to announce Philip Kountouris as our new President! Philip comes to us from St. Catharines, Ontario and brings over 25 years of lacrosse knowledge and experience to our organization. Philip’s playing resume includes; University Lacrosse (Trent University), National Team Experience (Greek National Team), NLL Combine Invite (2011) and a 4 Year Junior Career (Mississauga Jr A, Mississauga Jr B & Welland... Jr B). As an executive, Philip has served on the Board for Niagara West Tourism, Pelham Minor Lacrosse, the Ontario Entertainment Hall of Fame and Niagara Greek Community Festival in varying capacities. Additionally, Philip has coached for Pelham Minor Lacrosse over three (3) seasons, resulting in a Provincial Silver Medal and three (3) Tournament Gold Medals. Kountouris stated, " Lacrosse has given me more than I could ever give back to the game. My goal is to further develop the game in Campbell River and give back to the community that has welcomed me with open arms. As President of the Minor Association, I will continue to develop our young athletes to be the best lacrosse players they can be, both on and off the floor." Hello Raven Families, We are excited our registration has been open and numbers are coming in. Peewee division is now going to a waitlist. Please email [email protected] if you have a player wanting to be added to the waitlist. This season will look different then past seasons. This year will be focused on development of skills while in phase 1 maintaining the 3 meters between players and coaches.... CRMLA is looking to have outdoor practices start end of March. If you are interested in helping coach please email [email protected] and [email protected] with a short email about experience and availability. We also need managers for each team. Please contact Victoria L A Carnie if you are interested in helping with your child’s team. Although different we look forward to a safe and fun season.

Registration is still open and space in each division. Looks like we will start practices just after March break. Also the association is still looking to fill our president position. Our Past president is willing to mentor and guide this year. Put to move forward this position does need to be filled. Coaches are still needed, only a few emails about coaching have been received. If you have a child playing please email [email protected] if you have time to volunte...er to helping coach a division. Our association runs on volunteers. Thank you to those who have stepped forward to help.

Registration is open and right now is the early bird special! Till the end of January you save $20 off registration fees. The sooner we have our numbers the better for planning of the season.
