Dear Family Members, It is with such pleasure that I’m writing to you today. Since we have returned to the yellow phase, chapel visits with your loved ones have begun. Thank you again for your understanding and for working together to bring us to our current condition of minimal COVID 19 activity in the region. Which brings me to the point of this letter. We are now ready and excited to re-offer in-room visits. ... Starting Monday November 23rd,you will again be able to select up to TWO Primary caregivers and ONE alternate to enter the home. There is no need to contact us about your choice of caregivers and alternate, unless there is a change from previous in-room visits set-up. Only ONE caregiver at a time will be able to enter. Time slots will be from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm allowing 17 visits a day, 8 slots in the morning and 9 in the afternoon. This will allow for residents to have an in room visit once every 4 days. Chapel Visits will continue to be available for those not chosen as primary caregivers who would still enjoy visiting their loved ones. Nous sommes maintenant prêts et enthousiastes à offrir à nouveau des visites en chambre. À compter du lundi 23 novembre, vous pourrez à nouveau sélectionner jusqu’à DEUX principaux dispensateurs de soins et UN suppléant pour entrer au foyer. Il n’est pas nécessaire de communiquer avec nous au sujet de votre choix d’aidants naturels et de suppléants, à moins qu’il n’y ait un changement par rapport aux visites précédentes en chambre. Un seul aidant naturel à la fois pourra y participer. Les plages horaires seront de 10h à 13h et de 14h à 17h permettant 17 visites par jour, 8 places le matin et 9 l’après-midi. Cela permettra aux résidents d’avoir une visite en chambre une fois tous les 4 jours. Les visites en chapelle continueront d’être offertes aux personnes qui n’ont pas été choisies comme principaux dispensateurs de soins et qui aimeraient quand même rendre visite à leurs proches. Encore une fois, merci de votre patience au cours de ces 4 dernières semaines et nous nous réjouissons de vous voir bientôt. Opened up a tattoo parlour today at the Campbellton Nursing Home. Began by tattooing the residents and ended it with a nice can of beer or pop. Residents really enjoyed this activity.

We would like to say thank you to one of our resident's family for a wonderful gift of coffee, cookies and muffins. it is much appreciated.

Today we ended Halloween week by passing out Halloween themed cards to every resident. These cards were made by the amazing students of Lord Beaverbrook School. The smiles that came from the residents was absolutely heart-warming.

We're having a fun Halloween themed week at the nursing home. At yesterday's activity the residents were able to make Jack-O-Lanterns that wouldn't go bad. They really enjoyed making these.

We brought hunting back yesterday, however, this time the hunt was for monsters. The residents always enjoy this activity and it is so great to see them happy and laughing.

In search of volunteers: Campbellton Nursing Home is currently looking for people who would be willing to accompany residents to appointments. These volunteers would need to be able to drive our van and keep the resident company during their appointment. if interested please reach out to Jillian at 789-7356 for an application and more information.

Yesterday the residents had a wonderful time at our annual Beach Party/Acadian Day! They were able to enjoy hot dogs, smores, ice cream and some refreshments.

This year we were unable to have our annual Strawberry Fair celebration. So, Instead we made sure the residents still had some strawberries. They were treated with strawberry smoothies and ice cream sundaes with their choice of strawberry, chocolate or caramel sauce. ... We had a wonderful time putting a smile on all of their faces.

We've had the pleasure of being able to do inside visits for almost 3 weeks now. Residents and their families are very happy to be reunited. Thought we would share some of the happy moments with you.
