As per Scouts Canadas guidelines, Camp Byng will be closed starting Monday till at least April 5th, possibly longer depending on the severity continuing COVID-19 outbreak. We will continue to post updates as we receive them.

Camp Byng Spring Work Party 20-22 March 2020 All Senior Sections Welcome... Camp Byng Committee is hosting an open invitation spring work party beginning on the evening of Friday March 20 through Sunday March 22. The weekend will be fully catered and free to attend for all volunteers thanks to the generosity of Pacific Coast Council. The only cost to you will be transportation. We would like to invite all Venturers, Rovers, and Adult volunteers to join us. Venturers who would like to attend must come with a registered company scouter. Please register by Monday March 9 2020 by filling out the form below. Transportation: You will have to find your own way to and from Camp. BC Transit provides bus service from Langdale ferry terminal. Route 1 Bus Schedule Camp Committee Volunteers will be planning and leading work projects on Saturday to help prepare Byng for the spring which is our busiest time at camp. Projects may include cleaning and painting lodges, clearing brush and deadfall, stocking firewood sheds, and cleaning and moving mattresses into hulls. If there are any other types of projects you are interested in being a part of please send us an email and we will do our best to incorporate it into the weekend. A work party involves working, but also the word party which we have not forgotten! There will be time for fun after the work has been done of course!

With all the storms in the past few weeks Camp had some blow down, lucky a few Camp Committee members were out this weekend to clean it up! @ Camp Byng
