While our schools are shutdown for a few weeks (hopefully not any longer) we will be doing some experiments at our home with a 1st grader and a pre schooler. Most of these experiments were being covered in the 1st graders curriculum. You guys are welcome to recreate them as well. Today we are learning about Water Cycle. Here is what you will need: 1. A big glass bowl (ocean) 2. A smaller glass bowl (land)... 3. Hot water 4. Ice cubes (cold atmosphere) 5. Cling Wrap (clouds) Pour the hot water in the big bowl, place the smaller bowl inside and cover it with cling wrap. Make sure the water level does not go over the smaller glass rim. Now place the ice cubes on top of the cling wrap. And now wait for 10-15 mins. Terms to introduce: Evaporation, Transpiration, Condensation, Precipitation and Collection.
