Kennebecers! If you could design something for the Kennebec store, what would it be? What colours would you choose? We will be opening another Kennebec Store in the near future and we realized something we need to find out from our campers what's cool in camp fashion! That's right!! This is your chance to design a sweatshirt, T-Shirt, Pillow case, Long-sleeve T-shirt anything! - for our brand new 2021 Camp Kennebec Store. PLUS, if we choose your design, you’ll get credit... as the designer, your item for free, naming rights for the item in the store, special mention in our social media & newsletter, and the great feeling from knowing you designed the item each time you see someone wearing it in camp. Somethings you need to know before you start: - Please submit only one design per camper - Parents can coach a little, but cannot make the design or enter the contest - We will share all designs, but only one design will be chosen for this store - We will try our best to adapt, and stay true to a design, but we may have to adjust it - Please do not hesitate to email Elle ([email protected]) if you have any questions at all! Once your Kennebec Design is ready, email us a copy of it to [email protected] - with: - your name - the name of your design (if it has a name) and, - the story behind your design (how you came up with it or how it makes you feel). Please submit all submissions by Tuesday, February 16th, 2021. We look forward to seeing all of the amazing designs!

Season's Greetings to all the Kennebecers, near and far! We would like to pause this Holiday Season to say Thank You for the support, love and, laughs that you have provided us this year. From emails, to phone calls, to the best Zoom calls we've ever had - 2020 may have meant that we didn't have camp - but we feel closer to our community now more than ever! That’s right, she does the ropes, she brings the sun and now... she reads us Harry Potter - Arch! It's Friday folks and not only does that mean the weekend is starting but also means another edition of Spotted @ Kennebec! Today, we are focusing on Donz's favourite new camper - Jeffrey! Jeffrey has been around for a while and lives under the old Slop Shop. He likes to roam main camp looking for snacks and check in to see if Donz is sitting at the kitchen table inside the cottage. Some fun facts about Jeffrey: he has very, very good hearing (seriously!), he is a groundhog, he likes to eat plants and bugs, and he does not like to be call Jeff!

Welcome back to the HP book club! We are back with the first half of chapter 8, "The Potions Master". We have our first repeat reader for you- Rob! He is such a huge Harry Potter fan he asked if he could read again. Follow along as Harry and Ron attend their first classes at Hogwarts!
