First day of camping season !! The community lock is on the main gate, anyone who needs a key get in touch us. Please lock it when done remember the covid 19 rules that are in place and everyone have a safe and wonderful time ! Let’s get camping !

Hello everyone! As the park opens up we are going to do a few things differently this year than last. There are a few guidelines for covid 19 no social gatherings. playgrounds are closed. maintain 6 feet apart.... absolutely no entry in the park if you are showing symptoms of covid 19. keep up on proper hand hygiene. please sanitize after using the main gate. New permanent guidelines for the park. grande hermine is now a private park. No overnight campsites are available and no cottage rentals. Friends and family of campers are more than welcome to your personal campers. Please keep main gate locked at all times. there will be absolutely NO use of ATVs in the park. We will make a parking lot in the main entrance of the park that you will be able to park in if you wish to use your ATVs in the trails only. We understand this is very frustrating, not everyone follows curtain rules and we have gotten several complaints about the matter. For the safety of everyone and In everyone’s best interest we feel it needs to be done. Thank you for understanding. We want everyone to have a safe and fun summer. we will be preforming road work on the main road in the coming week please proceed with caution

Hello everyone as the weather warms up and the snow melts, we are getting questions about the park opening due to covid 19. At this moment we sit at level 4,once we move up to level 3 (June 8, if cases remain at 0) we will be allowed to open the park for DAY TIME USE ONLY. We ask that people abide by these rules as the park faces extreme fines otherwise. Level 2 we will be able to open full time. If everything goes well with no cases of covid 19 that will be sometime around... end of June-july. We have thought long and hard about park fees this year, and have put off announcing anything Intill we got more information. We will be charging full price on lot fees. $747.50. As many of you know this will be year 2 of owning the park. As a business we cannot financially run and thrive without your park fees. We understand that not everyone will be happy about this decision that we have not come to easily. Most of the campgrounds in NL are charging full price this season also. We first bought grand hermine as a Business opportunity, we learned very quickly that grand hermine is a Community of the most amazing people not just a Business. People who have stepped up and helped countless amounts of people. It’s a place where we all feel like home. We need your cooperation and community more than ever this year, so we can have a place to enjoy next year also. Usually our park fees are due June 1st . We will be pushing it back to July 1st and like always we can give payment plans to anyone who needs it. Email money transfer is [email protected] We also accept cash and check. We will be have a pot luck with deep fried turkeys 5:30 Saturday at the playground (comment what you will bring so we can avoid having duplicates ) A bon fire at the main entrance around 7 & fireworks at 9:30 ... Due to the weather for this weekend we will not be able to do a few activities we had planned. We are very sorry. We are looking forward to seeing everyone out rain or shine

The road is open as far as the main cabin for anyone who wants to shovel off their campers. Good walking conditions from the main cabin to campers. ***would not recommend anyone go down the road without 4 wheel drive and good tires road is soft with still over a ft of snow in places ***

Hello everyone, We are very excited to announce Gina Dyke, Joe Dyke, Martin Andrews and Jessa Andrews officially as the new co owners of grand hermine park! We have lots of big plans and looking forward to seeing this park flourish and grow in the coming years. This park has big potential and with hard work and time we are excited to see just how great of a park we can make it. We Can’t wait to meet and get to know all you beautiful people and spend lots of nights by the fire soon!
