With that in mind, family and friends of Ron Hynes have been considering way...s to pay tribute to his legacy of inspiration and influence on countless songwriters and musicians over the past number of decades. Please stayed tuned for details of the inaugural Ron Hynes Songwriter’s Award. Still working out the kinks, but the RHSA will come with a cash reward, the opportunity to record with Ron’s first guitar (1949 SS Stewart arch top) and winning entry will potentially be produced by Ron’s long time friend and collaborator, legendary guitar player and producer Sandy Morris. Fogfest wouldn't exist without volunteers, and those volunteers would be lost without someone who can coordinate everything and everyone. For the last 3 years, that person has been Dianna Parker and we want to take this opportunity to thank her. She is a pro at thinking outside of the box, full of great ideas, and a lot of fun to work with. It takes a whole year to create each #Fogfest and Dianna doesn't even get to see most of it because she works so hard at her real job/s... during the festival. That is dedication!
