Happy Holidays, Everyone! On behalf of Gill, Trish, myself and the whole team at Wanapitei, I hope this post finds you well and safe. Camp Wanapitei has always believed that challenge builds community. Canoe-tripping embodies this philosophy a group of strangers becomes a family as they come together to finish the last load of a portage, paddle the windy lake crossing, make each other laugh despite a downpour. So, it really should not be a surprise that COVID-19 brought ou...t the best in our camp community. You came together, and continue to come together, when Wanapitei needed you the most. We are grateful to our donors, shareholders, alumni, board members, staff, families and, of course, our campers. 2021 will bring challenges, but we are feeling very confident that we will be able to come together this summer.
